General Terms and Conditions of Taiwan Lantern Webshop
1.1 These terms and conditions are applicable to all agreements you conclude with Taiwan Lantern, hereinafter referred to as TL.
1.2 By placing an order you accept the general terms and conditions.
1.3 The instructions to order can be found on Purchase.
1.4 TL is entitled to refuse an order, stating the grounds for doing so, or to attach special conditions to the delivery.
1.5 The agreement is concluded the moment TL confirms your order by e-mail.
2.1 The TL webshop is part of Ju Ju Trading and listed as such in the trade register under number 58842446. VAT number: NL0038889590
2.2 From Monday until Friday you can reach the office from 9 am until 5 pm on the following phone number +31-(0)6-4676-3128. On Saturday and Sunday we are closed.
2.3 You can send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org at any time. We will contact you as soon as possible.
3.1 Ordering is easy with taiwan-lantern. Take your time to look around for something you like, then you can place order via TL online shop:

4. Product Information
4.1 All products of TL are hand-made. Therefore little differences among products in terms of shapes and colour may exist. We believe that this suits the authentic look-and-feel of the lantern.
4.2 Products of TL are made in Taiwan. The products are produced in the factory where expertise and working conditions are of the highest quality.
5. Prices and costs
5.1 Prices for our products are subject to change without notice
5.2 Prices listed in the website include 21% VAT.
5.3 Prices listed in the website exclude shipping costs. For the shipping costs, which are charged for every order, TL charges the following:

5.4 The shipping costs display on our shopping cart is only apply to deliveries within the Netherlands. Shipping costs abroad please refer to above chart, and the exact prices are shown at the end of === your order ===.
5.4 All prices are under reserve of misprints and printer’s errors. TL will not take any responsibility for the consequences.
5.5 PostNL does the deliveries for us within and outside of the Netherlands.
6.1 In the webshop you can pay by means of the iDeal payment system (safe online payments in your own online bank environment, only for the Dutch market). Our international customers have the possibility to pay with bank transfer. The purchaser will pay the banking costs for international transfers. The invoice is send to you by e-mail once the order has been send.

6.3 TL website uses Euro for all transactions. The bank will decide the exchange rate to charge the customer in your local currency.
6.4 TL retains the right to perform a check during a purchase. On the basis of the acquired information TL can offer alternative means of payment or cancel the order. No correspondence is possible with regard to any decisions or conclusions.
6.5 All transactions that occur via the webshop are encoded for your safety.
6.6 TL does not accept orders from people younger than 18 who do not have the consent of their parents and/or guardians.
6.7 Ownership in the goods we supply to you will not pass until we have received all sums due and payable by you for or in connection with the goods, including shipping cost.
7.1 TL takes the greatest care when receiving orders and shipping the ordered articles. TL sends the accepted orders as quickly as possible according to the order of arrival.
7.2 Standard articles will be delivered within three weeks after payment of your order has been received.
7.3 If articles cannot be delivered at all or on time you will be notified accordingly no later than 7 days after placing your order.
7.4 TL is not liable for any damage caused by exceeded delivery periods.
7.5 After the third time of your order being failed to deliver by Post NL, followed by not picking up the order within the allocated time limit at the post office, the order will be sent directly back to us. If you wish the order to be resent, shipping costs will apply. However, if you choose to no longer receive the order the total amount of your order, excluding shipping/postage costs, will be refunded.
7.6 After refusing the order on the corresponded address, the order will be send directly back to us. If you wish the order to be resent, shipping costs will apply. 8.1 We are happy to issue a refund for unused and unmarked goods in their original packaging. In that case you will have to contact TL by email with 5 days goods delievered. After giving approval, we will transfer the amount to be reimbursed to a bank or giro-account within thirty days.
8.2 All items must be returned with the sales invoice within 10 days of the purchase date. We will offer a full refund if the goods that we supplied to you are found to be defective in any way. We recommend that you use a delivery service that offers insurance cover. Return postage will be at your own cost unless the item is faulty.
8.3 If you receive a wrong article, an article containing a defect (bamboo or fabric defect etc.) or an incorrectly delivered order, you must return the article or the order in an unused state to TL within seven days. TL will replace the article and send it to you without any additional charges.
9. Transport guarantee
9.1 TL insures all shipments. If you notice that the packaging of your parcel is damaged before opening it, contact TL immediately. If you have already opened the package at the moment you notice any damage, please contact TL within no longer than 7 days. If you contact TL by email please attach a picture to it.
9.2 TL will replace unused, damaged articles free of charge. If you contact TL after 7 days the damaged articles will no longer be replaced free of charge.
10.1 By placing an order you permit TL to use your personal data if required. Your personal data will be registered in the customer file of TL. This entails that in addition to carrying out the agreement, your email address can be used for realizing marketing objectives and maintaining the customer relationship with you.
10.2 The personal data provided by you will not be shared with a third party for commercial purposes.
11. Claims and consumer protection
11.1 Do not hesitate to contact TL if you are dissatisfied with our products or services. If you have a complaint about a delivered article, contact TL within 7 days after the shortcoming became apparent.
11.2 TL always tries to resolve problems or complaints in consultation with the customer.
12.1 TL does not accept any liability in relation to you for any damage, other than the damage that is covered by its liability insurance and insofar as the insurance company effects payment in such cases.
12.2 Outside of the aforementioned cases, TL’s liability is always limited to no more than the amount of the purchase price of the relevant article(s).
13. Force majeure
13.1 The obligations of TL will be suspended in a situation involving force majeure.
13.2 If the period of force majeure is longer than two months, both you and TL are entitled to annul the agreement without any obligation to pay compensation. Situations that involve force majeure are strikes, illness among personnel, disruptions in transport and import/export bans, irrespective whether this occurs at TL or the suppliers of TL.
